Landry Nicks
Landry Nicks is the Director of Finance at Kapor Capital, where he’s responsible for the firm’s financial infrastructure, reporting, and operational performance.
Landry earned his degree in Accounting from Loyola Marymount University. After graduating, he held various accounting roles before joining the Kapor Center in 2016 as a Staff Accountant. Over the years, he supported the Kapor Family Office, the Kapor Foundation, and Kapor Capital—gaining a well-rounded understanding of mission-aligned finance across multiple entities. During this time, he gained firsthand insight into what it takes to successfully support a venture fund from a financial operations perspective. His dedication to learning and collaborative approach ultimately positioned him to step confidently into his role at Kapor Capital.
Outside of work, Landry enjoys exploring Bay Area trails, going to the gym, and giving back to his hometown of Oakland.
